Consultation and Treatment Planning
Dr. Sanchez will meet with you and your child and conduct an initial consultation. The process includes records review (time-limited), medical/ developmental/psychological history, interview, and clinical observation. A treatment plan will be developed in collaboration with you, the parent/guardian, to address your child's current needs. Together we will find evidence-based solutions to the problem and get you and your child back on the track to success.

Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the following areas: School/ Learning problems, ASD (all levels of functioning), ADHD and ADD, Learning Disabilities, Depression, Anxiety and Trauma, Emotional Dysregulation, Behavior Problems of all kind, Sibling Conflicts/Rivalry, Executive Function Disorders, Toilet Training delays and complications, and Developmental Delays. Expertise in the following areas of adult: general mental health diagnosis and treatment, learning problems, and executive function disorders, trauma, domestic violence.
School Based Advocacy Services
1. School Observations
Dr. Sanchez can observe your child in school and inform you of their needs, challenges, and level of functioning.
2. Review and Consultation on the Development and Implementation of Educational Plans
Dr. Sanchez will review your child's academic records, Individualized Education Plans (IEP), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and/or Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) plans and make recommendations to you and the school team.
3. Advocacy
An expert advocate who can attend school meetings with you and advocate for your child's needs.
1. Psycho-Educational Evaluations
An assessment of a child, adolescent or adult's psycho-social and medical history, cognitive abilities, and academic functioning with extensive recommendations geared towards maximizing their school success.
2. Clinical/ Comprehensive Evaluations
An assessment of the whole child/person; it can address a myriad of referral questions and includes evaluations of cognitive, academic, neuro-psychological, adaptive, and social-emotional functioning.
3. Forensic Evaluations
Forensic evaluations typically will answer a specific psycho-legal question for the court. Dr. Sanchez can complete forensic evaluations of children and adults. Dr. Sanchez specializes in trauma, abuse and/or neglect, domestic violence, and mental health or other psychological issues with respect to forensic evaluations and can complete culturally sensitive forensic evaluations.
